Happy December! The holidays are upon us and Hall Memorial Library is here to celebrate with you!
Happy December! The holidays have snuck up on us once again and this is our last newsletter of 2024! How the time flies! December is a busy month, so our events are few this month! So make sure to check out the awesome and festive events we have going on!
Special Announcements
Attention! Hall Memorial Library will be closed 2 days in December (24th & 25th). We will also be closing at 2pm on December 31st.
Kids & Teens
Storytime (1st & 3rd Sat at 10:30am) Join Steve for some cool stories! First and third Saturday of each month!
Homework Help (Mon-Fri at 3:30pm) Stop by after school to get some help with your schoolwork!
All Ages
Chess Club (Mon 3-5pm) All ages and skill levels.
10th Annual Candy Sled Races(Fri 12/20 at 5pm) Build your sled out of candy and race against each other until we crown a winner! Winner will be awarded a real life sled!
Open House Potluck (Tues 12/31 10am - 2pm) Stop by and enjoy some delicious food and board games with the staff at Hall Memorial Library! (The library will be closing early at 2pm this day)
Adults
Sewing Group (Fri 10am-2pm) Bring your own materials and sewing machine. The project of the month is going to be woven placemats!
Board Games for Idiots (Every other Thurs at 5pm) All kinds of board games and skill levels.
Caroline Crafts (Fri 12/13 at 5pm) Join us to make some wool ornaments!
Knitting & Crochet (Thurs 12/5 & 12/19) Join us to knit and crochet some fun new things! Bring your own materials.
Holiday Baking with Noelle (Thurs 12/5 at 5pm) Come watch Noelle bake her 3 favorite types of holiday cookies and go home with some of your own to make! Registration is required for this event.
Book Groups
Nooners Book Group (Tues 12/17 at 12pm) Reading short stories/poems of their choice.
Books & Brews (Weds 12/11 at 3:30pm) *At Waterhorse Irish Pub*. Reading The Inmate by Freida McFadden.
Crime Junkies (Fri 12/27 at 4pm) Reading Christmas Presents by Lisa Unger.
Cookbook Club (Mon 12/30 at 1pm) This month we are using Disney’s Merry Christmas Cookbook.
TSC Book Group (Wed 12/18 at 10:30am) Reading Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney.
