Winter begins to loosen its icy grip on our community, but we’re not out of those chilly woods yet! Swing on by your local library for a springy attitude and some fresh reads (and to admire our new carpets)!
Announcement About Library Cats
Sad update for our cat-loving patrons: During the February HML Board of Trustees meeting on 2/13/23, our board voted that the library was not the place for kittens. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause. Please contact us or the Trustees if you have any questions.
Pet Profile ✨
This month’s Featured Pet is: Goblin the Kitten!
Former library kitten Goblin isn’t letting his recent unemployment bring him down! He’s doing what most of us do when we hit a job snag- moving back in with mom (Director Brittany) and getting back to his passions (chewing on shoelaces and jumping in garbage cans). Often described as the goofiest of his 4 siblings, Goblin embodies the myth that all orange cats share a single brain cell- and this boy hasn’t had his turn yet. We miss you, Gobbo!
