Join us as we wave goodbye to the old year and prepare for the new! HML, as always, has an abundance of delightful programs for you and yours. Make sure to make it in before winter break! (We will be closed December 24 through January 1)
Special Program: D&D Club
Thur Dec. 15, 5-8pm. Hail travelers! Join our fabulous DM Miss Janel for level two and more adventures! Pre-made characters and resources available for new players. This program is for teens and adults. (13+)
Kids’ Programs
Story Time (Mon & Sat at 10:30am) Stories and rhymes for preschool age children.
Wellness Club (Tuesdays at 3:45pm) A weekly after school program focused on healthy bodies and minds for children in grades K-5. Each week participants will join Coach Jen Adams (of Fierce Spirit Fitness and Wellness and Coaching NH) in light exercise, meditation, and snacks.
Coffee Filter Snowflakes (Wed. Dec. 7 at 4pm) Stop by with your kids to decorate and cut out some magical snowflakes to decorate your house with!
Candy Sled Races! (Tues Dec. 13 at 6pm) Come build your own candy sled and race it down our snowy hill. The sled that slides the furthest wins. The Grand Prize is a real sled of your own!
Lego Build & Play! (Wed Dec. 21 at 11am) Parents, bring your kids to come build LEGO creations and then tell us all about what they created.
Teen Programs
Leaning into Leadership (Mondays at 3pm) A coaching program for local teens who are ready to make a difference in their lives and community! Inspiration, personal growth, connection, and community. Lead by Coach Jen Adams of Fierce Spirit Fitness and Wellness and Coaching NH and Dawn Shimberg of the Tilton Northfield Youth Assistance Program.
Hang with Nash (Tues Dec. 13 at 3:30pm) Brighten your day and spend time with Nash the dog. No registration required!
Craft: DIY Heating Pads (Wed Dec. 14 at 3pm) Join us to make these delightfully quick and easy heating pads to keep for yourself or gift to friends and family!
Pizza & Pages (Tues Dec. 20 at 3:30pm) Join us to talk about books and eat pizza! (What's not to like?) Each member will be able to pick up a copy of the book discussion book to keep. This month we will be reading: Ski Weekend by Rektok Ross

Nooner's Book Club (Dec. 20 at Noon) Reader's Choice! Join in for a lively discussion of your favorite reads this month!
Crime Junkies (Dec. 23 at 4pm) Reading Burial Rites: A Novel by Hannah Kent. Stop by HML to snag a copy before the meeting!

Quilting Group (Fridays 10am-2pm) Bring your own materials and sewing machine.
BYO Craft & Chill (Thursdays at 6pm) Drop in and work on your project while chatting with other crafters! All handcrafts are welcome.
Managing Stress at Any Age (Wed Dec. 7 at 1pm) Everyone experiences stress. It can affect our mental and physical health in various ways. Learning how to recognize the signs and symptoms of stress and taking steps to reduce its harmful effects are important. Join us as we discuss strategies to recharge and find balance in your life.
DIY Melt & Pour Candle (Tues Dec. 8 at 6pm) It's the most wonderful time...to make a beautiful scented candle! As a gift for yourself or another.
Paint n' Sip - December Edition! (Thurs Dec. 22 at 5pm) Join us for an wintry painting party while sipping mocktails (or cider!) and snacking. Materials and victuals provided- and don't forget to register on the library website, space is limited!
