Marjorie is a young Spitzhauben pullet with big bright eyes and a sweet personality. She loves wandering around the yard with her friends and eating fresh strawberries from the garden.
Summer Reading & Special Stuff
Our Summer Reading Program is in full swing this month! Under the colorful theme “All Together Now”, we have special activities for everyone! Fun programs and reading goals for kids and teens, as well as the return of Bookopoly for adults!
"Quetico Connection" (Thurs July 13 at 6pm) Join author John Doelman for a discussion of his nature photography book and the personal experience of wilderness canoe tripping.
D&D Club! (Thurs July 6 & 20, 5-8pm) Hail travelers! Join our fabulous DM Miss Janel for thrilling tabletop adventures! Pre-made characters and resources available for new players. This program is for people 13+.
Chapter Storytime with Nash (Tues July 18 at 3:30pm) Join us in the Teen Zone for an all ages chapter book storytime with the ever-charming Nash the Golden Retriever!
Adult Summer Reading Scavenger Hunt (Week of July 24th) Join our week-long community-based scavenger hunt! Take pics around town, enjoy local amenities, and get raffle tickets!
Kids’ Stuff
Family Storytime (Mon & Sat at 10:30am) Join Storytime Steve for fun stories and a related craft or activity!
Growing Goodness (Saturdays, 11am-2pm) Tend to the library garden and learn the basics of gardening through hands-on activities and education!
Rocketeers: Build and Launch! (Weds July 12 at 11am) Build and launch rockets at the first meeting of the HML Rocketeers! 6 spots available- make sure to register!
Teen Stuff
Gaming Club (Wednesdays at 3pm) Hang out in the Teen Zone and play some Switch games!
Craft: Kindness Rocks (July 11 at 1pm) Get creative and paint some kindness rocks!
Oreo Taste Test (July 18 at 1pm) So many flavors, so little time- which will be your favorite?
Craft: Portraits (July 25 at 1pm) Get artsy with us and make some portraits!

Chess Club (Mondays 3-5pm) All ages and skill levels!
Quilting Group (Fridays 10am-2pm) Bring your own materials and sewing machine.
Knitting Group (Tuesdays 2pm-4pm) Stitch, please! (We mean it, come stitch with us and other knitters- it'll be fun!)
Craft Night (Tuesdays at 6pm) Combining our two crafting programs into one for a streamlined good time! Come together with other crafters to do your thing! Whether you're into fiber arts, sketching, sewing, Cricut, or just want to hang out, meet us at 6PM weekly on Tuesdays!
Board Games for Idiots (Thursdays at 6pm) All kinds of board games for all kinds of skill levels! From Monopoly to Warhammer 40k, beginners are welcome!
TSC Craft (Tuesday July 11 at 12:15pm) Join us at Tilton Senior Center for a sunflower wreath craft and great company!
