The April showers brought the May flowers! Spring is here and we are ready to celebrate with some awesome events!
Special This Month!
Don’t forget to stop in and buy raffle tickets for the Friends of Hall Memorial Library Spring Basket! Filled with over $250 worth of items, the Spring Box has so many fun things for spring! Girl Scout Cookies, gift cards to local businesses, spring tools, games and more!
Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5! Winner will be chosen on Friday, May 24th!
Kids & Teens
Storytime (Every other Wed & Sat at 10:30am) Join Storytime Steve for some cool stories! Wednesdays for ages 0-5 and Saturdays for ages 5-9!
Cardboard Club (Wednesday 5/22 at 3pm) Come and build ANYTHING out of cardboard! Imagination only required!
Mr. Steve’s Showtime Storytime (Friday 5/17 at 5:30pm) A multimedia storytime event like nothing else. Mr. Steve will read while you are transported inside a book with visuals.
Games & Snacks (Tuesday 5/14 at 3pm) Join us for games and refreshments!
Storytime with Nash (Thursday 5/30 at 3:30pm) Come listen to a story and pet a very nice golden retriever!
All Ages
Chess Club (Mon 3-5pm) All ages and skill levels.
Sewing Group (Fri 10am-2pm) Bring your own materials and sewing machine.
Board Games for Idiots (Tues at 5pm) All kinds of board games and skill levels.
Flower Festival (May 6th-May 15th) Spring is upon us and we need FLOWERS. The Children's Section will be hosting a flower festival all week. Come make a flower, learn about flowers, and help decorate our space with FLOWERS!
Coffee House Chill (Thursday 5/9 at 6pm) Join us for a chill night at Hall Memorial! Open-mic, live music, and some refreshments!
Cat Cafe (Thursday 5/23 at 6pm) Come and enjoy some refreshments, do a cat-related craft and hang out with some cats!
Movies in the Park (Friday 5/24 at 5pm) Join us at Riverfront Park and watch Trolls Band Together! Movie is sponsored by Raven Gael Blaisdell Memorial Foundation.
Adults
Yoga & Meditation (Weds at 6pm) Join us after hours for a rejuvenating program with Noelle. All levels are welcome; no experience in meditation or yoga is necessary.
Caroline Crafts (Fri 5/17 at 4pm) Join us for a creative and hands-on experience making paper bead jewelry!
TSC Crafts (Thurs 5/16 at 12:15pm) Come make dutch heart vinyl basket planters!
Middle School Parenting Discussion Group (Thurs 5/9 at 6:30pm) Come discuss the challenges and joys of parenting a middle-schooler and talk to other parents experiencing the same thing!
