Special Events
Belly Dance Performance (Tues 10/22 at 6:30pm) Experience the beauty and elegance of Jeni’s belly dancing with a performance that will captivate you!
Making Marigolds (Tues 10/15 at 3:45pm) Making Marigolds! All Ages event for a DIY craft where we will make Cempasúchil flowers. Cempasúchil is the Aztec name of the marigold flower native to Mexico, and is also called the flor de muerto or "flower of the dead". The marigold is a key part of the Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) festival and is used to decorate altars, or ofrendas, to the dead.
Trick-or-Treat Bag Decorating (Thurs 10/24- 10/31) Come decorate a trick-or-treat bag for the big night! From Thursday 10/24 to until materials run out.
Week of Dia de los Muertos (Weds 10/30- Fri 11/1) This October, Hall Memorial Library will be celebrating Dia de los Muertos and invites the community to bring in copies of photos they would like to display of loved ones who have passed on. We will be accepting copies of photos between October 27th and November 2nd. (Please ensure this is a copy and contains your information on the back so we may return the photo to you once the celebration ends. If you do not wish to be returned the photo, please mention that to our staff.)

Storytime (1st & 3rd Sat at 10:30am) Join Steve for some cool stories! First and third Saturday of each month!
Homework Help (Mon-Fri at 3:30pm) Stop by after school to get some help with your schoolwork!
Kids Beading for Indigenous Peoples Day (Tues 10/8-Fri 10/11) Come learn about Native American bead work and bead your own story bracelet. Materials will be provided.
Trick-or-Treat Bag Decorating (Thurs 10/24- 10/31) Come decorate a trick-or-treat bag for the big night! From Thursday 10/24 to until materials run out.
Kids Vote (Tues 10/29- Mon 11/4) We got a lot of really great books this year, let's see how they match up against each other. Come cast your vote for the best book of the year! Voting will take place from 10/29 to 11/4.
